Bradshaw, Colantoni & McCullough – January 2019

January 30th, 2019

Congratulations to Havelock High School’s Cora Bradshaw, Rhiannon Colantoni, and Diamond McCullough, recipients of the Do the Right Thing Award from the Havelock Police Department. These classmates volunteered to assist a struggling student in their class with a difficult assignment. They realized the student was struggling and wanted to include her in their work group project. This took a lot of time and effort. They could have just as easily done the assignment themselves and let her share the credit. But these young ladies helped/taught the student during the project so that she may learn herself. The student was able to do certain tasks in the project so that they could turn in one complete assignment.

Thank you, ladies, for doing the right thing!
