Message From the Chief
On behalf of the men and women of the Havelock Police Department, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to your police department. The entire police force is committed to protect the lives and property of all our citizens. Our number one priority continues to be the reduction of crime in the City of Havelock.
The Havelock Police Department serves a diverse community of approximately 22,500; therefore, we are committed to having a talented and diverse police force to properly service this community. The command staff, uniformed personnel, investigators, and civilians of our department are committed to enhancing the quality of life for every resident, business owner, military personnel and their family, and visitor through transparent and inclusive community policing, which is focused on 21st Century statistics-based policing principles. We are committed to serving our community to enhance the quality of the life and to nurture public trust by holding ourselves to the highest standards of performance and ethics.
Our officers are determined to serve as a deterrent to crime; maintain and develop relationships with community groups, residential and business organizations; and support the historic preservation of our town. Additionally, we are dedicated by providing continuous training and educational development to our personnel to ensure we can continue to provide service of the highest quality to our community and foster effective community partnerships in crime prevention.
In an effort to keep all stakeholders in the City of Havelock properly informed, it is my ultimate goal that this website serves as a resource for the citizens of Havelock by providing valuable information regarding their police department and important issues associated with crime tips, wanted persons information, upcoming events, and traffic concerns.
