Message From The Chief

On behalf of the men and women of the Havelock Police Department I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our department; your police department.

Chief Magnusson

Police Chief, David Magnusson

The Havelock Police Department serves a community steeped in diversity both civilian and military, of approximately 22,000. The command staff, uniformed personnel, investigators, and civilians of our department are committed to enhancing the quality of life for every resident, business owner, military personnel and their family, and visitor via transparent, inclusive community policing which is immersed in value based policing principles.

Existing bonds between the citizenry and the police department shall remain strong and grow deeper.  Bonds, that may not yet exist, shall be developed and cultivated. Lines of communication will always be open for every point of view is important to consider; that is how long term solutions will be found.   Solutions are always readily attainable so long there is always a willingness to listen to all sides and a desire to move forward as one community.

Accordingly, we are all stakeholders in the City of Havelock.  It is my ultimate goal that this website serves as a road map of sorts to direct the Citizens of Havelock toward valuable information regarding their police department and issues of importance that the police department may impact upon from crime tips and wanted persons information to upcoming events and traffic concerns.

As a result, the City of Havelock Police Department’s Mission Statement reflects this as follows:

It is the mission of the Havelock Police Department to bear full commitment to those ideals and core values via honesty, integrity, and professionalism that will produce genuine, long-lasting partnerships with Havelock’s citizenry, business community, and military personnel.  These partnerships, enhanced through a “high-quality” customer service attitude will consistently strengthen the quality of life within the City, by collectively being receptive, responsive, and quickly removing those impediments that challenge this quality.
