Can you pay court fees/fines to the Receptionist at City Hall?

No, they must be paid to the Clerk of Court (639-9004) or to the Magistrate (447-3940). Court days are every other Thursday here at City Hall, but the receptionist does not have anything to do with court proceedings.

Does the Mayor have an office inside City Hall, and if so, what are his hours?

The Mayor does have an office in City Hall and is available every Monday from 3:00 – 5:00pm. On the 4th Monday of every month, which is also our televised Town Hall meetings, he is available from 3:00 – 6:30pm. Please call in advance if you would like to meet with him after 5:00pm so arrangements can be made to open the office. Mr. Lewis wants to hear from the citizens of Havelock. If you have questions or concerns you would like to address, please feel free to call City Hall to make an appointment, or you may email him at wlewis@havelocknc.us.
